Habitual Parking Violations (HPV Impounds) A Vehicle Release Order must be obtained from the Parking Violations Bureau. For this type of impound, the Department of Motor Vehicles does not issue a release. Please note that current registration will be required and must be presented to the Parking Violations Bureau before obtaining a Vehicle Release.
